For school-age kids, the living-history program of the Lower East Side Tenement Museum (97 Orchard Street) every weekend will be intriguing, fun place to be, while the New York Transit Museum (130 Livington Street) will fascinate the youngsters with their vintage subway cars.

Shopping

It’s not just the adults who’ll love shopping in New York. Even the kids will be ecstatic with the many offerings in the city! Take your bookworms to the Books of Wonder and let them be enthralled with some of the world’s finest children’s literature; NIKETOWN will put those little ones with fetish for sneakers jumping with glee. For those with sweet tooth, Dylan’s Candy Bar would be a paradise – especially for those seeking for a real Willy Wonka experience.
